I was starting up League of Legends match and then my PC freaked out. I couldn't shut it down or anything so I took out the power cable, I booted it up and these random lines appear on my screen. I just recently built my PC and I do not know what this is. If anyone knows then help me urgently!!!!

This is what happens, first it is booting normally and after a while lines appear and then when it goes to the welcome screen it doesn't change and after the awhile on the welcome screen, the screen changes all blue and doesn't display any message at all. I need help ASAP, I don't want m £600 to go to waste.

'I was starting up League of Legends match' Only on planet Earth could ever such a thing arise.

Sounds like a GPU issue to me, either not getting enough power or somethings not right.

What PSU/GPU do you have?

you need to clear the cmos, take out the motherboard battery/leave it out a good 5 minutes then put back in and powerup pc

it will reset/lose any oc settings so beware

Cmos resets the BIOS,if its working then don't clear cmos, usually after a bad crash it sends things funny hence clearing the cmos to reset everything

Pulling the plug is the worst thing to do

Just hold front power switch in till pc shuts down,it can be a corrupted cmos, gpu driver corrupt due to you pulling the plug and sudden power loss or gpu memory error with artifacting/flashing lines

so its still flashing?

all I can think of is to re install the gpu drivers or do a system restore to before it crashed see if that solves it

it will shutdown if you hold front power switch in,no matter how badly it locks up

I get this flashing thing when I am gaming, it happens after playing for 5 minutes, I reinstalled my graphics card drivers but it has no effect.

its done this always? or since it crashed ?

is the gpu overclocked might help to lower gpu memory clock by 200mhz and retest
