Help! Booting from USB Hard Drive...

Guys, I think what I am trying to do is not what I keep finding solutions for.

I have a laptop that can read USB Hard Drive as a bootable drive, which is fine. But the USB Hard Drive I have as WinMCE on it (as in, the install files).

I did an nLite of WinMCE and got the created files onto the USB Hdd, now I want to re-install WinMCE from my USB Hdd. #

All I can find is instances where the OS is actually already installed on the USB Hdd. I want to install FROM the USB Hdd (as if it was a CD-Rom).

When I choose USB HDD in the BIOS, it goes to boot from it but says ntldr is missing.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

why is it so big

the normal 2cd's are about 790 mb or something

mine is about 200mb (with mce)

dont add loads of crap to the disc

perhaps he's trying to install steam or photoshop or something like that along with windows? :D

Anyway, another option is to buy a USB external DVD-drive enclosure... I use one of these for laptop which has a broken optical drive - it works a treat.
