Alrighty, I've watched many videos on this as I wanted to do it right first time and I have done 4x 3pin fans not a problem, along with my 8pin power connector for the motherboard.

I was just getting started on the 24pin ATX power connector and this happened!!

I wasn't pushing/pulling too hard or anything. I am assuming because it was a doubled up crimp it was slightly weaker...? I'm guessing anyway.

How do I fix this? I don't have a clue about crimping or anything like that and don't want to have to spend a butt load of money buying crimping tool and then spare fork bits?

Help much appreciated.

What you could try,

Open the wings on the connector the best you can.

Solder the two wires together and close the wings around the wires with a pair of needle nose pliers, then reheat with the soldering iron.

That tool doesn't look appropriate for the task. Looks too wide for Minfit Junior terminals.

I'd go with the soldering method in #2.

Thank you guys - panic over.

I'll have to ask to borrow a soldering iron from my mate, its been about 3 years since I last used one so might practice on some old cabling first.
