Help! Bug stuck in my screen!

Hi guys. Right, basically about a year ago I had two small bugs, sort of like two ants this size ~ crawling around the screen. One of them decided to die in view, about 3/4 down, to the right. I'ts bloody annoying! It's been there a year now but it's just started to really bug (wheyyyy) me.

Any suggestions? I've tried shaking and tapping, I think compressed air is next on the list but I doubt the air will reach right were the bug is, between the screen and the LCD panel.

only thing i can think of is taking the monitor apart but i suppose that amount of work would bug (wheyyy!!!!) you!

apart from that, nothing you can do... i had a few little critters in my monitor once, but took it apart and cleared them out.

it cannot really be helped during summer/autumn because of the hot weather... damn things!

I almost got one caught in mine during the summer. I'm surprised they don't seal them better.

If it's been cooked into the screen, you'll need more than compress air I'm afraid.

Tried splitting the monitor but it wouldn't split. Left it as it was as I rather have the bug in there and not break the monitor!

Maybe you can send it under warranty as a dead pixel?

The monitor was bought for my first build about 4 years ago, so warranty is well out. It does have a dead pixel though, had it since new, but I just ignored it and kept it.

You can't do anything about it unfortunately. Gf had this issue in her laptop screen, Dell told her it would cost a fortune to sort out... Basically a screen change...
