Was thinking to upgrade to 6970.

i noticed that asus do

i read that directcu means they are better for cooling, and it actually isnt much more expensive.

how much better is directcu II, would i notice the difference?

it would be going under the pressure of many 3d programs such vue9 and maya and of course the stress of very demanding games *battlefield 3*

it should fit into my case and fit my motherboard yeh?
crosshair v formula
haf 922 (longer and wider than haf 932/hafx)

thanks in advance

the DCUII's are generally quieter than reference coolers, also offering more effective cooling (still open to debate).

One thing you should keep in mind, if you want to CF later on, these cards are almost 3 slots thick, which makes a dual card setup very tricky.

thanks, na i dont think i will xfire the 6 series, i think i keep just the one card until the 8th series when i will have bit more money =P

i will go with a single 6970 directcu II then
