Ok, I have my PC, Monitor and LCD TV.

I have a graphics card that has a DVI & VGA output sockets.

My Monitor is connected to the DVI socket.

Now i would like to connect my TV to the PC aswell. The Problem is my PC has a DVI input socket and I only have the VGA socket on my PC left, as the monitor is in the DVI.

So what i need is a DVI to D-Sub (VGA) cable, now i know you get the cause i have one, the only problem is that it is not long enough! I need one of these cables in about 3-4 meters long, preferably 4. I cannot find one of these anywhere been most places but i can't see one, does anyone know where i can get one?

Help would be much appreciated.

p.s. Could I get a VGA male to female cable, connect the male end to my PC then use the current DVI to D-Sub (VGA) cable that i already have and connect the male VGA end to the female VGA end, on the cable from the PC, and then connect the DVI end to my TV, would that work?

Thanks

Gary.

Why not just get a DVI to Dsub VGA adaptor from a friendly auction site and buy an extra long VGA cable? Adaptors cost pennies....
