Help, can't get my new card working

Hi I have the following system, I am about to upgrade my monitor to a 23" HD and also wanted to hook up my playstation, for playing blu-rays. I also play IL2 which works better on Nvidia cards.

So I have gone for this card

Sparkle GT430 1gb

I have fitted it and seems ok, the cards fan is going round, but my monitor is not receiving a signal, if i take the card out, everything is fine

any ideas?
