Help ,cant get my pc to find my quest

Hi ,ive purchased a quest and would like to link it to my pc for gaming .
I have the appropriate wire ,but for the life of me I cant get the pc to find it ?

Any ideas please

you usb is inconsistent or your using an incompatible cable ???

Im using the anker usb c to usb

Have not got the quest myself only the Rift but i think you unplug quest,install drivers/maybe restart THEN plug in quest
Also some usbs are picky about the headsets

yeah I cant seem to get it to go any further

Is there something I can do for the usb part on my pc by any chance .

you were right ,its gotta be restarted and wired up first
then switch on headset and enable .

It's weird. I got it working after this thread made me do a search and connecting up the quest then running the software worked for me. Running the software and then connecting gave me a USB 2 connection in the softwares eyes.

I was worried my cheap cable with extender was at fault,, seems you just need to do things in order.
