As per title. It's been trying to update but for some reason my computer thinks it can't be trusted and only let's me click Close. I assumed that uninstalling it and re-installing from fresh would have solved this but to no avail, it's still giving me the exact same message.

Are you on a domain with restricted rights? Your AV software casuing an issue? Which OS you running? If a local user do you have admin rights? A little more info would help.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'm an administrator and i've downloaded the non IE Flash (Firefox). Here's the message I get:

Where do you disable UAC?

Tried restarting the PC? I don't think UAC needs a restart in order for a change to take effect but you never know.

Thank you very much sir, this sorted it out. One thing that puzzles me is that I installed Flash ages ago with UAC on the default setting and it installed and updated fine up to this 10.2 update and that's when I started to get this message. Would I be right in assuming that it's the update that's done it or have I broken something lol. Also, should I keep UAC turned off or is that a bad thing to do?

No probs. :)

It wouldn't surprise me if newer Flash installers needed more permissions.

I have UAC off. I'm quite a sensible chap. ;)
