19" standard monitor or pay the £100 extra for a 20" widescreen.

im thinking of getting the belinea 20", its just im worried about widescreen being a pain and games not supportin it, and the fact that its not a TN panel, which has always been the gamers panel.

Help me please, ive got £400 to spend, and cant make my mind up !

My feeling is that with games advancing in demand so fast the 19" screens give you more future proofing to your system.

Widescreen is more immersive for games, check out http://www.widescreengamingforum.com for some more info regarding games that natively support widescreen and others that can be tweaked to work. However a lot of the 20" widescreens suffer with bad backlight bleeding including the Belinea. The NEC does look promising though.

If you have £400 to spend, I would go for WS. I had the similar dilemma before the purchase, but now ... never looked back ;)

The NEC MultiSync LCD20WGX2 20.1" Widescreen is looking a viable option for me....see the thread about it, almost sounds to good to be true!

ive just read the belinea thread in full

so many people with bad experiences,

yet so many with good

i dont know whether just to go for the cheaper 19" samsung 960 and have done.

deffo the 20" widescreen, even with backlight problems they are superb screens, well the dell 2005 is anyway. if the samsung 960 is like the quality of the 913n then i deffo go for the dell instead.

If you play game a lot then the Samsung 930bf is a good choice. Not widescreen but awesome for playing games.

If your a game player the the Viewsonic 19" VX922.

Superb monitor with great respone time, I've had no probs with mine at all.

Not widescreen but I prefer that when playing games.
