help: cant remember windows live id password for live account

i have a problem, i set my live account up ages ago with an email address with an isp who i no longer use, i wouldnt mind too much except i cant change any of my details because i dont have the password.

i cant get the system to email me the password as the email address no longers exists, what can i do?

Like they'd give him an answer? Atleast if he asks here someone may have been in the same situation and found a specific method to resolve it.

Phone the support number, maybe if you provide credit card details you used to setup Xbox Live you'll be able to recover the account.

Is there not a "Forgot Password?" function on the site?.

I thought there was, but I cant remember. :confused:

Possibly sign up the email you used for your Live account again?

I believe you could sign up a dial up account. They are usually free, and possibly would come with the email address you used previously?
