Help! Can't remove case fans!

Hi, I'm trying to remove the three 80mm fans from my old Beantech Igloo 3 and I can't.

They each have those black plastic tab things that are a pain to get out. I've tried crushing the ends of them (Not going to be re-used, the fans are broken so I've ordered some new Zalmans) but I can't get them out.

I've only tried to remove the case on the removable motherboard tray at the moment, god knows how hard it will be to remove the ones at the front, as the only access to them is through the hard drive bays.

Any tips of getting rid of these ridiculous fan screw tab bloody annoying things?

Can't you just use needle nosed pliers to push the tabs together so they can pop out?

Beyond that, the idea to saw them off is possibly your only option.

arent the the oens where you have to push 4 tabs together?

Can't you just get out some wire cutters out and cut/snap the tabbythings?

Got them off with Needle-nose, eventually. Had the sort of mash up the four tabs until they were together-enough to be pulled through.

Horrible way of securing fans, tbh.
