help changed monitor now wont detect! suse10.2

hi i swapped from a iiyama vision master pro 454 to a samsung 226bw on dvi

all i get is the normal boot up then when it looks like X starts i get a blank screen.

tried running sax from command line. doesnt detect anything. just get blank screen.


any ideas how i can get it to work?

how do i manually type it?

or do you mean just edit the conf file?
