Hi,

I have two images that I want to change, both are pictures of horses.

The first picture I want to remove the white flash from the eyes, when the picture was taken. I have PSP 8 and Fireworks, Fireworks only removes the red from the eyes, and PSP adds a pupil to the picture but isn't consistent with the rest of the picture.

Does anyone know of any alternate methods to fixing this?

The second picture I have an image of a person riding a horse, but require it to be more central. Problem with this is the background has overhead cables, and when trying to copy a selction of the image it doesn't look right with the background.

What could I do in this situation?

Cheers

Post the images here, Mark'll have a go for you :D

Or failing that, I will. No easy answer without seeing the pictures, but a mix of burn and a paintbrush will fix the flash. And I can't work out what the second one is about without seeing it.

Hi,

I have just uploaded them to my webspace here.

Image 16, I would like the person and the horse to be in the center of the image.

Image 25, I would like to sort out the horses eyes to get rid of the flash.

Thanks for having a look.

Haven't forgotten. :D

I've knackered a neck muscle and my right arm is twitching away like an electric eel on acid. ( No right hand jokes , it bloody hurts )

I'll have a go tommorrow if the prescibed pain killers / Deep Heat and Cider cure it. ( OK i prescribed the last one :p ).

Or perhaps JoeyJJ will step in and help ?

Funny you should say that, I fell part way down the stairs the other night and landed on my foot.
I think I've bruised a muscle and needless to say it started to swell up, and the pain, oh the pain of it all :(

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on the thread then.

Mines an old motorbike / tarmac interface  and the cold weather sometimes plays havoc with it.

I'm just walking around at the mo , can't sleep on the thing and the health centre wouldn't amputate it.

:(

Only just got back. Working on the eye one now, doing individual pixels. A labour of love. Horses eyes are black right? :D

Cheeky solution to the centralising - crop it so the horse is in the middle? :)

Edit - Sorry JoeyJJ , didn't realise you were working on it :o
I'll leave the other one to you

Sorry to hear about your ailment mate, feel better soon :)

Yeh , sorry about that. :o

Hate making promises to someone and then backing out.

Still hurts like ****.

You do the other one.

Cheers

Cheeky solution to the horse centering:

Moving the animal would be a lot harder (completely impossible). Mainly in reproducing whatever was behind it.

Thanks guys.

I tried using the red eye removal tool in PSP 8, but with the blue outline around the eyes, it looked like the horse was wearing eye shadow.

Possibly getting ready for a night on the town. :D

Ha, I thought the same thing. Had to blend with the brown. Looks nice I think.

Happy? Or more to do?
