I've been looking at water cooling my case because of its size it get really hot (super lanboy) and the DFI chipset fan on my lan party is compleatly covered by my 8800 GTS so there is no airflow, and it doesnt help that the 8800 runs hot too.

The chipset is the main problem. At idle the chipset is 55 and the CPU 35 but when gaming can go upto 75 and 50. I was looking at this swiftech bundle and then getting my self a waterblock for the chipset and possibly in the future one for the GPU.

But all the chipset coolers look as if they wont fit because of the graphics card. All the piping goes in onto the block rather than off the top of it. I was wondering if any of you could help, will the card still fit with these blocks as most newer cards cover the chipset now anyway??

Thanks

A company called MIPS do nforce4 DFI blocks which don't get in the way of the graphics card.

Why don't you look at better air cooling sollutions? Like Thermalright HR-05/ HR-05 SLi chipset blocks, and a better air cooler?

Edit: I had a Ting Jing chipsert cooler for my DFI board, it was fantastic but hard to get hold of, I think america is the best bet unless the UK has got them in since.

I found my large gpu's covering the chipset a problem when I had my amd64 rigs and it put me off watercooling. Thinking about it now though, if you watercooled the gpu would it give more airflow to the chipset seeing as the huge heatsink fan would not be attached to the gpu?

:D Kewl Overclockers should stock things like that, im sure there are a lot of people with the same problem.

They look really cool and the Thermalright one looks like it would do the job nicely, I see what you mean about the Ting Jing one, froogle couldn't even find it!

I think one of those would be a nice investment saving me spending all my money on water cooling, I know a bigger case would help but it looks so neat and cool with the UV lights in my Lanboy and he was an Overclockers bargin!

Something tells me that the UK does have the Ting Jing cooler, I'm sure I stumbled upon it whilst looking for waterblocks sometime ago. As I said, I checked out so many sites and a while ago that I couldn't remember the site and I couldn't link/hint at it either if I did. :(

Overclockers watercooling section is pretty poor at the moment. They have a good selection of products, but could do with some more I feel and what do range, isn't available.
