I've been thinking about making the leap from xbox back to pc. I used to have a pc powerful enough to run WoW but that died a few years back. Now I have a pc that struggles to run lotro on the lowest setting. So I'm looking to buying a new gaming pc. I want a pre-built one that I can buy from the Internet but I need help on choosing the right one. My budget doesn't stretch very far, I'm looking to spend about £650. Im willing to sacrifice graphics for the game to run smoothly as long as it runs games at medium or higher graphics. I'm looking to run new games like rift on it, and also will be using music editing software. Any help on a pc I can buy in my price range or how much RAM and what graphics card I should be looking to get would be greatly appreciated. :)

Well a few points.

We can only link to OCUK pre-built systems as competitors are not allowed.

Is it just the base unit you are looking for? including an operating system?

You have a monitor/TV and keyboard, mouse and speakers?

That looks very good and cheap. I may make the leap to buying windows 7 with it. How good is the graphics card that comes with that as I'm a bit of a computer boob and numbers mean nothing to me.

Its a great gpu, does DX11 effects (which you need win7 to utilize)

Which would you advise to put into the computer then in terms of the harddrive and graphics card?

it comes with a harddrive, a 1TB

Ignore adding a SSD, your budget wont allow it once you have selected win7 home and a GTX460 from the selection boxes.

Even chooosing the smallest 30GB is a little pointless, its not much room.

No worries.

Just make sure its the gtx460 you pick and not the gts450 which is significantly slower.
