Hi guys.
Im trying to read as much as I can with the 10's of camera reviews.

I used to have a Nikon D80 camera - loved it but sadly sold it and got a pocket camera for holidays.. a canon ixus.... oh how I hated it.

So much in fact that I actually take less and less pictures.... Nowadays I have a very quick 3 year old son who does not like his picture taken.... often Im finding im taking pictures with a Galaxy S 2 just to catch him. After just using my ixus for the last time Ive decided to spend about £500 (may push to £600) for a new camera.

Now Im pretty sure I DONT want another SLR.... and I dont want a basic point and shoot......

Im thinking one of the these compact with changeable lens type cameras - but Im now reading so much Im starting to confuse myself.

I decided on a Panasonic FZ 150 ....... good zoom (handy) - does video - I dont want a camcorder but I would like to do some video.... and would probably do me without buying the extra lens that I did with the D80..... but now Im thinking do I want something smaller again..... but similar spec with regards to video.... and good quality shots.

Anybody care to point me to a camera this sounds like ?

Thanks for reading.

Oh dear it seems I may have gone completely wrong direction!
I went for the Panasonic gx 1 with the manual kit lens.... £50 cash back.

I liked the fz150 but thought the smaller gx1 may fit my needs better.
Hopefully get to use it over the weekend and see.

Thanks guys.

Pity the optional viewfinder is so expensive.... Would have actually liked that. Will see if it's a problem
on sunny days due to the screen.
