Help choosing a card

Been inactive for a while and generally lurking here and there,building anew system at the end of the month or early january.

been looking at the GTX 780's mainly got my eye on the EVGA SC /ACX edition but the 290s have also caught my attention especially with the non reference and mantle being released soon.

my main question is whats the best 780 or doesn't it matter and down to personal preference? or should i hold out for the 290s non ref.

http://www.inno3d.com/product/ichillgtx780.html Are able to overclock to GTX 780Ti speeds but if you're in no hurry I'd wait till the non-reference 290x's come out, as they're severely limited by the stock cooler.

it's better to spec the whole system together than just GPU.

early Jan should see custom 290s.
