hi,

i was just wondering whether i could get some advice on choosing a new case. i currently have a coolermaster praetorian 732 i think. it's a full alluminium job, but i don't think the cooling is as good as it should be, seeing that when i bought my computer, components were no where near as powerfull as they are now.

my current set up is an E8400, 4GB ram, HD4870, and currently a 550w psu, although i think i'm going to get a psu too!.

In my humble opinion i think the Cosmos S is a lovely looking case, but i think it would be a large dose of overkill for my meager set up, i won't be water cooling as that looks to be too technical, not to mention costly, so i'm looking for a case which is excellent for air cooling. (and a good psu reccomendation ;) )!!

thanks for any help you may be able to provide

p.s i'm not too worried about budget as such, i'm happy to spend up to 150 pound mark.

thanks for the suggestion :D,

i wasn't quite clear in my OP, i meant 150 for the case, and whatever for the psu, to be honest i have 250-300 at my disposal, and the only thing i haven't upgraded from my original rig, is the psu, and the case. but thanks for the help!, keep the suggestions coming ;)

ooooohhhhh, i like lights :D is the antec 1200 good for air cooling?, is the cosmos any good for air cooling? i just really like the look of the case, but not sure about it's cooling abilities. spose i had better way get reading up on the reviews, i know the antec 1200 is very highly rated. and what do you think of the ocz stealthxstream 700w?

thanks for the tips on the psu's, i like all the purdy lights on the antec 1200 :) but i really like the look of the cosmos s, so if it's ok for my bits that i have i think i may go with that one. after all, it's me that has to look at it every day!, and thanks for the helpfull replies, what a thouroughly decent bunch of chaps you are ;)

theres another thread with someone looking to replace his new cosmos cos the cooling is woeful.

had a quick look and can't find the thread, is it the cosmos, or cosmos s that they think the cooling is bad?, i've read an awfull lot of reviews and user reviews and i would say 99% say the cooling is more than adequate, most people moan about the price!

*edit* just seen the post, doesn't say which cosmos it is
