Ok so I have narrowed my search down to two lenses, the canon 60mm and the tokina 100mm.

My question is has any one had any dealings with these lenses? Or can you recommend anything else?

Many thanks buzz

went for the Canon 100mm F2.8L but the non L version also seems to get good reviews as it's cheaper and has very similar quality but without IS. The 60mm is supposed to be decent enough but you need to get closer to your subject which can be a problem for insect and such!

No idea about the Tokina but if budget is an issue then maybe you should consider something like the Raynox DCR 250? It's an addon thing that uses your existing lenses and seems pretty cheap considering the results seem half decent from what I've seen
