Currently have a Dell 23 inch ST2320L. Do a little bit of programming/web design and a lot of gaming/movies too.

The more i've started to program the more i've thought I would benefit from a multi-monitor setup.

I was looking at one of the BenQ 24inch screens that is on offer right now...but was wondering how much of a difference i would notice between that, and a Dell IPS display of the same size when watching BluRay rips etc. The price difference between them is £80. Is it worth it?

Also..what is the difference between this monitor: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-052-BQ&groupid=17&catid=510&subcat= and this monitor: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-033-BQ&groupid=17&catid=510&subcat= apart from the design and difference in response time?

ips would be a better choice for a second screen because the viewing angle is a good deal better
a tn 120hz would be a nice pick for gaming tho :D

Ideally you would want a good IPS screen as your main monitor, depending on your budget a 1440p would be nice.

And a 120hz TN screen like the BenQ 2420T or Samsung 700D for your secondary monitor.

That way you have 2 monitors to do your stuff on, and you have 1 monitor great for your web design and everything else, and your other monitor great for gaming.

Thanks for the replies.

So you say that 120hz TN screens are better for gaming with comparison to a IPS display?

Are there any IPS displays you would recommend as my main monitor. I would like a 24inch...i currently have a 23 inch ST2320L...would this cause any problems at all?
Did you find having 2 different display sizes annoying?
