Hi all, I have had my p180 case for quite some time now, I think my first build with it was a 2500xp Athlon!! So I'm after something newer that's better for my gpu but at least as quiet.
Silence is pretty important to me and I did buy a Lian li AO5FNB case but it was a LOT louder than the antec so I moved back to the p180.
I would like something a bit smaller and more discreet. I have an matx mobo so that's always an option!
Does anyone use something that might be suitable?
Current spec is.
Antec P180
Seasonic X660 PSU
ASRock Z77 Pro4-m mobo
i7 3770k
Evo 212 heat sink with noiseblocker m12-PWM fan
8GB GSkill Ripjaw 1600MHz
7950 twin frozr GPU
Creative fata1ity pro sound card
Samsung 840 500GB SSD
2 * 3tb Seagate 7200RPM storage drives
Scythe GT 800rpm case fan
I know the 7950 is a big source of noise but I'm planning on upgrading to an nvidia card in the summer as they run cooler thus quieter. I'm also tempted to get the nzxt g10 bracket and go all in one water cooler for the gpu..
I could also swap my seagates with the the wd greens that are currently in my NAS.
