System spec
CPU - I5 2500K
Ram - 2 x 4GB Corsair Vengeance
Mobo - Gigabyte Z68-AP
GFX - GTX580
CPU Cooling - Corsair H70
1 x SSD & 1 x 3.5" HDD
Current case - Antec P182
Current case has excellent build quality and is very quiet, cooling is sufficient with all fans on low setting. I do not really want a larger case, smaller would be a bonus. The dust filters are excellent and so easy to clean this is a feature I would like to keep in a new case, many of the cases in my list below when reading reviews have slipped up in this regard.
(Ideally the USB ports would not be on the top of the case either as it is going under a desk, but this wouldn't be a deal breaker.
What I don't want to end up with though is a case that feels like it has an inferior build quality, tinny rattly cases are not my bag.
Cases I have considered and my comments
Corsair 540R - concerns over build quality
Fractal Design define R5 - concerned it's going to feel plasticy after coming form a P182
Antect P380 (not out yet I know) - essentially I am paying for the same case I already have, and it's a hefty price to pay, albeit with a few updates.
Corsair 780T - seemed perfect until I saw how big it was
Fractal Design R2 Midi - seems to be a smaller R5 but with lower build quality
NZXT 440 - PERFECT, no ODD slot (FFS!!)
Corsair 330R - reviews suggest it is overpriced for what you get
There are more but I can't remember off the top of my head
