Hi all,
Am really struggling trying to find a new monitor, lots of conflicting reviews/reports so hoping you guys might be able to help as am driving myself mental.
I'm looking for a 24" screen, gaming for me and photography for the Mrs - I don't really want to spend much more than £200 but would stretch to £300 if I could find something great.
At the moment I only have an AMD 7850 which I'm looking to replace in the next few months so would consider Freesync or G-Sync but at my price point that might be a stretch.
Having something with 144hz refresh rate for my gaming needs makes sense but would need to be a TN panel I think. Seems the more recent TNs cope a lot better with colour accuracy nowadays which would be important for the wife's photography work. I understand viewing angels aren't great but that's not really an issue in our situation.
I investigated monitors a while back and was considering the following:
AOC G2460FQ - (£171)
ASUS VG248QE - (£215)
What would you guys recommend now for gaming/photography for around the 200 quid mark?
Thanks.
