ok an update on this,

the 5870 is a very very tight fit!!, in fact it took some serious cable wrestling to get it in and powered to the psu

First analysis is that the northbridge runs very very hot (62oC idle), any ideas how i can attach a 40mm fan to the heatsink without removing the asus heatsink?

CPU is running hotter than expected even with the mini ninja, im getting 50oC idle. Im hoping that will calm down when the artic silver 5 has had time to settle and meld, may get a better fan than the one it came with.

Just power tested everything last night, not had a chance to install Windows 7 64 bit yet, will do that tonight.
