Help choosing some ddr3

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could advise me between these two sets of ram.

OCZ platinum 1600mhz ddr3 cl 7-7-7-24 or OCZ platinum 1866mhz cl 9-9-9-28.

I dont really know whether the faster frequency or the tighter timings would benefit me most. I use my pc mainly for gaming. I will also be looking to overclock my i7-920 (if that helps with decision).
Both sets of ram seem to be around the same price, with the 1866mhz ram maybe being around £5 cheaper.

Hi again,

I was also wondering why 1600 cl8 is the best choice over the 1600 cl7 that i listed?

Would you say corsair dominator 1600 cl8 is the best over the two sets i listed?
