Hi,

Been looking at which graphics card to buy but need some help in choosing one. I want to spend around £250. I been looking at the 8800 GT but all of them are out and stock. Could you advise me which other ones are good and in stock? Its for my new gaming rig and must be good for future gams etc.

Any help would be really appreciated

Many thanks :)

What res do you game at if its 1920 x 1600 you should get a 8800GTX. They can be had now easy for £250 but if its any less res then you would be mad not to wait for 8800GT stock to appear.

Here is the stats on the 8800GT that Gibbo posted (he's a OCuk employee)

An update:-
50x Gainward arriving (thursday - today)! [only 5 left]
40x Zotac AMP arriving Friday! [confirmed all pre-orders have been allocated]
500x BFG OC arriving Monday/Tuesday
400x BFG OC2 arriving Monday/Tuesday
20-100x EVGA anyday, but not confirmed, EVGA very unreliable.
20x Gigabyte (thursday - today only 2 left ), 40x more next week!
60x Asus arriving possibly this week or next week!
100x PNY due Friday/Monday
1000x OcUK due by end of next week! (800 pre-sold!!!)

thank you. sorry to sound stupid but is there any differences between the different brands of 8800 gt etc. Which one is the best to buy?

Many thanks

The only thing that differs by the brand is warranty, and what software you get, all the cards are the same as they are made by the same company, all come off the same production line, just when they come off they slap the individual brands logos on em.

If your competent at overclocking, then you may as well just buy the cheapest and overlcock it yourself, as they all overclock well. :)

Theres 5x Gainwards and 1x Gigabyte in stock now. :D

thanks for your help. I'm currently building one for xmas.
