Hi all,

In the market for a new monitor. Decided 4k is where I'm at. I've narrowed it down to two monitors and wanted people's thoughts.

Dell alienware aw3225qf

MSI MPG 321URX

Let me know your thoughts or if there is something se I should consider.

Thanks,
Adam

Was in a similar place. Liked Dell for price, MSI for solid feature set and flat screen
Went with Philips EVNIA 32M2N8900.
Basically same as MSI. Imo better looking, but worse stand (which I didn't use anyway)
Might have worse support down the line, firmware updates and whatnot, but price difference was just too big in favor of Philips
So far smooth sailing

The dell I can get for £740.
The msi I can currently get for £960

Still mulling things over. Also seen samsung LS32DG802SUXXU the Odyssey oled g8. Thanks for all replies so far

It's almost a 10/10 monitor if you don't mind the curve, also has the best looking stand imo
I came from an ultrawide curved monitor and still it seems odd for 1-2 days
stupidly low response time isn't a lie either I measured it as 0ms @240hz dell claim 0.03 ms

they are probably both pretty much identical in screen clarity etc ,so your just paying for the packaging, feature differences etc

The dell does have a fan btw, but I've never heard it turn on yet, I only know mine works from the testing menu, on full blast it's almost inaudible.

IDK if the MSI is passive cooled, some monitors have a custom heatsink/heat exchanger.
