hi all,

i am in the process of changing my motherboard and am looking for a micro atx one.
i want to be able to use my GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency and run vista64 with it.
it would be nice to have onboard vga if poss.
also i would like a bios to overclock, eg: voltage adjustment for chipset, ram, cpu.
have been looking at the gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R.
would any of you guys recomend this board?
Thanks...

I have
GA-G33M-DS2R
ASUS P5K-VM

Both great boards and overclock well. Pros of each as follows:
DS2R - Cheaper, Raid, Esata Bracket, More Sata Ports
P5K - Better at overclocking 200fsb than Ds2r, Coaxial SPDIF.

If I had to choose 1 I would get the DS2R

I have the P5K and I would recommend you get the DS2R.

There seems to be a problem with the P5K-VM and it's SATA ports. It's manifested itself several times for me over the past month, and is a right PITA.

To put it bluntly, it's a fantastic board (probably even better than the DS2R) when it works. :o
