Help! Comp just died

OK, just been playing tomb raider and blue screened with WHEA error. Rebooted and got stuck in boot loop. Then it went into bios recovery mode! Panic starts to set in! Bios reset finished and loadede up old bios. Rebooted and couldn't find windows boot manager, got into bios and changed boot order and set back to ahci mode. Now it just keeps looping. Eventually it's reached the stage of powering and shutting off after about 2 seconds.
I've unplugged all other drives, taken mouse keyboard and all other peripherals out, even unplugged graphics card. No joy. Taken battery out and waiting 30 mins and I'll pray, but is my PC pretty much dead?? Any other suggestions?

Hard-drive may be dead, no reason to suggest any of the major components yet, Was your OS installed on a SSD or a HDD?

SSD. It won't even get me to bios. Didn't think hard drive would cause that issue? Hmm I'll unplug all drives and see if bios loads. Gsh, got to go out unfortunately now!!

OK update time.
It's the bios that's corrupted. After a lot of effort I finally managed to boot, but the bios won't save!! Flashed it to newer version but now I'm back at square one and windows won't fix itself
