ok, So I began playing WoW again and I have recently been having a problem where my game would freeze and I would not be able to open the task manager or alt tab out, leaving me only able to restart.
after this it would not start up again sometimes saying 'error communicating with a device', and I would not be able to start up at all
I am running with a system HDD of 250GB and all my data/ files on a 500GB HDD and I dont think it is due to a hard drive failure, as I have changed my hard drive- system- and it still occurs.
I have formatted both drives and reinstalled windows and the problem does not end.
Is there anything I can do to stop it from crashing, eg is my PSU to weak or prehaps I need some drivers that I dont have?
- GTX460, Intel i5 2500k sandy bridge, foxconn P67A-S mobo, 4gig giel ram, 530W 'be quiet' PSU 2 HDD's (western digital)
I have the latest graphic's, network, chipset, audio drivers and direct x so I dont know why WoW is causing my PC to crash, overheating is not a problem either.

Thanks in advance as this is a huge problem and I cannot keep reinstalling windows and drivers 2 times a day because of crashes.

Have you previously overclocked anything, i.e graphics card, RAM, CPU?
Your system is becoming unstable, crashing it completely, forcing it to restart.

Usually the case after overclocking, and when under load for certain amount of time will simply become unstable.
Run Intel Burn Test to test CPU & Memory for stability. Run Furmark to test GPU for stability.

Im am now getting the blue screen of death with error code of : 0x000000F4
I cannot boot up some times, but others I can I have litteraly no idea what is going on, also I have not overclocked anything and I only bought this about 2 months ago so it is worrying that it has begun crashing, although it seems to be only since I have installed WoW :/ any clues, cant use the above tests as I cant boot up at this time

Ok so after finding no solutions to the above, I have reinstalled Win7 64bit and I launched WoW from it.
All seemed ok for the first 45mins, but then everything froze again. after a bluescreen-crash I could not restart my Pc for about 15 mins, with different problems, sometimes my Pc would say that there was no disk drive or no hard drive or both, and it would also say some error: 0x0000255 or very simular
after managing to restart the Pc has programs going unresponsive for the first hour, they went unresponsive every 50 seconds or so.
I found the time was 1 day out, probably due to a mistake in re-install of windows (doubt any signifigance but running out of options)
I have no idea what is causing the programs to go unresponsive as I have run virus checks with no results, using 1-5% CPU according to the task manager, and around 30% memory usage, could it be that WoW is clashing drivers or something? memory leak? I am litteraly stumped because this problem has only occurded since WoW has been installed

Thank you in advance, this is depressing to have a 2month old PC that you cannot use

Was this a prebuilt computer you bought?
I'm guessing you're having a memory problem.

Download and run Memtest. There are instructions on the website on how to use it, this will test your memory, if it reports any problems then RMA the memory and/or system.
