Hi chaps,

This one has stumped me. I had just received my TP-link 150mbps PCI-e wireless card (Tl-wn781nd) and plugged it all up fine first time and inserted the small driver disk, the driver download got about 2/3 of the way through and froze. Now whenever I turn my machine on with the wireless card plugged in my pc freezes as I get to the log in screen (windows7). when I take out the wireless card my pc boots perfectly.

Any suggestions? Trying to locate these damn drivers to remove them but can't find them anywhere, please help!

Thanks

Max

hm system restore function in windows not helping?
maybe could try in device manager see if you can get at the driver that way

Here is the current update -

I had removed the card and rolled back my machine a few days to get rid of the drivers. It now boots up fine with the card in as long as I don't install the drivers from the disk which is fine.

I go to the TP-Link drivers page to find the drivers and try to install them and the problem I am now getting is the drivers try to find my installed wireless card but cannot find the wireless card what so ever. Any advice?
