Turned my computer on this morning only to find that after about 1 second fansand lights stop then immediately start again and continue to repeat. Help!

turn off pc and then at the socket, press hold in fron panel power switch for 10 seconds then try,if it still does it repeat and pop out the mb battery and leave out for half hour, then put back and load optimized defualts in the bios/re-enter oc/bios settings, thats if it lets you get that far

Nothing is overclocked and can't even reach bios, I'm doing what wazza said, removed the battery now, pc is about 4 years old so maybe the battery died? Il retry in half an our and if nothing il try a replacement battery

it wont be the cmos battery,it could have just crashed badly and corrupted the cmos hence its not booting, could be other things but best to start there

I had exactly the same issue yesterday after I changed something I shouldn't have changed in the bios.
Popped the battery out for few minutes, replaced it and all was well.

Have no idea if it'll solve your problem however.

Faulty RAM stick I'll have to buy another 8gb of ram as you cannot buy this type of ram anymore thanks for the help guys, 6gb of ram should work okay right?
