Just put my new system together and it will not boot. The motherboard is the IP35 Pro. I have attached all power cables as indicated, installed the ram, HD, processor (Q66OO). tried to power up the machine and it kind of powers up briefly, powers down - and then briefly powers up again (on a sort of loop). I have to disconnet the power cable to stop it booting briefly..

Anyone got any ideas to my problem, I have reset cmos etc, but that does do anything?

Ok sorry..

Hardware is as follows...

Q6000

BFG 8000GTX

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-6400C4 Dual Channel Platinum Revision 2 XTC Series DDR2

Currently just got one 36GB Raptor Drive, until OS is installed

Tagan 700w PSU

Cheers

Hi mate..

Thanks for the reply - well i have disconnected all the components and it is still doing the same thing, powers on for like 3-5 secs goes off powers back on etc.

My first self build :(

I have only the two power connectors connected to the mobo as well as the processor, and that is it? Faulty mobo?
