Help Computer Will Not Turn On

Hi
My computer turned its self off and will not turn on. There is power to the motherboard as the power flight is flashing, usually solid. My specs are:
4670k
Gigabyte ga-z787x-0c
MSI 7950
2x 8gb Kingston hyper x
Corsair hx 650.

All help would be much appreciated thanks.

CMOS battery is out as well as the gfx card. I'll report back in a minute.

I tried just each stick of ram singularly, it's down to either the motherboard, CPU or PSU.

Tried a different PSU and still the same, does anyone now what the flashing power button actually mean?

Just ordered a new motherboard as i'm out of ideas.

I've ordered another but I'm going to refrain from opening that until I test the new motherboard so I can still send it back.

I have tried just using one stick of ram, tried both sticks each as well. But I haven't tried disconnecting all my HDDs. I will try that later.

Turned out to be the PSU. Think the 5v rail was screwed.

This what is happening with mine although I did try another PSU.

Pull the ram, hdds etc and see if you get any display on the in built graphics

I took all the cables out, gfx card, sound card, ram etc. I didn't try the HDD's though so I will try that later. When I tried the other PSU I only put in the 24 pin motherboard connector, the supplement 4 pin + the h100 molex. Should I have plugged in the HDDs as well?

Another update, tried with one stick of ram and all HDDs unplugged except for my ssd. And it still doesn't post. I found a old spare amd motherboard and CPU plugged it into the PSU and it booted. Down to either motherboard or ram now. New mb should be coming tomorrow.

I've already tried both sticks on thier own and booting into the backup bios.

Yeah, back in business. Replaced the mobo and it worked.

Trying to return the faulty MB to gigabyte as I only had it 11 months. My cheap £35 micro ATX will have to do for now. I also have a brand new unopened PSU I have to return to Overclockers.

Well ******* **** computer turned off last night and now will not come back on again. Seemed to be working fine with the new MB, now I have no idea what to do.

I've tried two different PSUs and I do have surge protection plugs which are still lit. The motherboard doesn't have a light it seems.

I tried it outside the case + removing cmos battery, RAM etc and still nothing. I also tried a new CPU and still nothing. Have I really had two motherboards go in a week? Could it be the PSU taking them out?
