Was hoping someone could help me with a problem I am having with my PC, My pc randomly wont turn on any more, The computer is about 6 years old which I bought off overclockers.co.uk.
It has been running fine for many years and recently it just will not turn on at all, the power comes on for a second and the power cuts off.
I have tried taking all the parts out like the RAM, GPU, HDD and CD Drive, and it will still not start.
I am not a computer expert but I tried unplugging the ATX_12V_2X cable from the motherboard and the power came on and stayed on. I was really happy at the point and plugged everything back in. it still came on when everything was plugged in but the screen would stay blank, and there was no beeps from the motherboard.
I am not sure what the problem is and if I need to replace anything. It only works with the ATX_12V_2X cable pulled out but no screen comes on.
Would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions.
