Hi there,

I have just finished building a PC from scratch and for some reason the cpu is around 52 c at Windows Xp. Soon as i'm trying to do something it goes up to 64-65 c. Is this normal or its to Hot???

My fan speed is 1780 it came with the cpu, i'm not sure if this fan should turn faster, and the cpu voltage is 1.14.

My MoBo is Asus P5WDG2-WS Pro, with a E6600 cpu and i'm using Corsair XMS2 Dominator Twin 2x 2048 6400C4D.

Does anyone have any idea what can i do to fix this problem or if there is something with any of my parts are not compatible???

Thanks :)

Help , CPU is over heating !!!

As a fact ,my case is an antec nine hundred that came with 4 fan's.

I left all 4 of them at high speed and i dont have any more space for another one. I Think i should look for different alternative.

Do beside thermal cooling i use to fix this problem?

By the way my memory is a DDRR2 800 CL 4-4-4-12. Do you think this memory is not compatible either with my cpu or Mobo?

I have just put a fan in side my case ressting agains the ran and jammed between the cpu cooler lower it from 43 load now down to 36 load maybe try that?

the stock heatsink comes with thermal paste already applied, did you perhaps apply that as well as your own thermal paste?

If so clean it all off and try again
