I would like to create a bootable image of my C drive

any ideas on tools n software to assist me?

dont have the storage to clone a drive

A fresh install of Windows 7 takes up 16GB. Whilst it's possible to slim that down a little for use on smaller storage devices creating a bootable image of your current setup would likely require just as much space as cloning.

If all you want is a slipstreamed installer, try RT Se7en Lite.

Windows 7 has it built in, from professional upwords. Buy an external drive and keep it on there as it can do > usb.
