Weird case layout. "I find the lack of airflow disturbing".

I don't understand how they'd expect to get any air circulating around the components. No cable management? This looks like an outdated design

I agree. I think I will change the case in the next build... another 5 yrs

or so...

in the meantime are there any sort of 5 1/4 drive bay fans I can use to circulate air from the front?

Depends if your case has an opening at the front to let the air through. I think the front door is vented, so you could theoretically remove the unused drive bays to let the air (and the dust) pass through. I supose for a temporary measure, it's worth a shot, and also seeing if it improves temps.

the front door is not vented so not sure how that would work unless I leave the front door open, but this would defeat a large part of the case's soundproofing...

I guess I can live with the temps, should be ok for casual gaming and vid editing; I am not into oc'ing much and will do it in limited stints i.e. while vid editing etc...

should tide me over for a few years

on second thoughts I may as well order it as I have just the right amount of bays free...some air would be better than none... cheers
