Help deciding between 4K and UW

So I've spent the last 2 months reading this forum and trying to make a decision on my new monitor. Now I'm at the point of trying to make the final decision i would appreciate some feedback on options....

I'm looking to connect up my PC (R9 390 8gb), PS4 and Xbox One. My current 27" monitor is not as big as I want. Regarding my consoles I have a 65 Samsung U7500 but find the colours a bit washed out when in game mode.

So ideal long I'm after a great monitor for all 3 inputs with great quality - I'm far from a professional gamer so response time is desired but not the ultimate decider. I appreciate that the consoles won't go UW but hoping the quality would still be better.

I've looked at the 34 UW monitors with Freesync and also the Benq BL3201PT.

Has anyone been in a similar position and made a choice?

with a 390 I wouldn't go with either 4k or ultrawide, your actual image quality won't improve at playable settings

as far as using a 34inch superwide with a console, it will revert to 16:9 which will be exactly the same size as your current 27" monitor

Give me 21.9 with slightly lower graphics over higher graphics 16.9 27" any day of the week tbh. 21.9 adds a whole new immersion to games.

The acer 34" with freesycn range 30-75hz will help smooth things out too.

But if you are def. upgrading your gpu and can wait a little longer then do just that
