Help deciding on a graphics card

So its itchy fingers time.
I have had the current graphics card a while, a 4870 512MB sapphire.
The heatsink has been replaced with a zalman cooler, so it stopped sounding like a vaccuum cleaner.

Now though I am thinking of retiring this little card and getting something else.

Ok system specs are
E8500
BFG Nforce 680i
4GB Dominator Ram.
X-FI sound card.
Corsair HX 520W power supply.

I am thinking of around a £200 figure, but dont mind spending a little more.

My thoughts are that there is the 460. Which seems reasonably priced, and should I need to its easy enough to get a second and sli it. Potentially need a bigger psu if I do that though.

Or I can push the boat out further and look to the 5850. Again if I feel the need to later I can pair that with another card, not necessarily a 5850. (Would crossfire be happy on a 680i?)

Would I notice a jump in performance? potentially going for a 1gig card should help a bit a s well.
Recently I have noticed the 4870 struggling a little on things like blur and apb. Nothing major, but if I have a second monitor up and running I do notice it more.

Most of the time Ill run games on a single monitor at 1680*1050, but occasionally its nice to open up the second.

And its here in my hands as I type this... Wellnot literally otherwise it would be impossible to type, but next to me.

Which is pretty impressive timing, ordered at 11am yesterday, here by 08:15.
