I'm trying to figure out which monitor to buy. With so many available and with varying features it's proving tricky! The screen will be used with a Macbook pro, a Dell laptop and my old PC with an 8800GT (not all at the same time of course!). I won't be doing any heavy gaming or video/photo editing, so I am not looking at the top end of colour appearance but still want it to be good. I'd consider 2 x 24 at 1080P (with ability to chain them without needed 2x cables to laptop) or 1 x 27 at QHD (happy to be educated if I am misled on 1080P not looking great on 27". I run my Mac at maximum res if that helps)
I'd like built in speakers (our audio out) with at least 2x HDMI. USB-C would be a bonus. Being height adjustable is pretty important but seems to be missing on a lot of monitors!
In terms of use - mostly for working. I work in a terminal a lot and switch between windows constantly. I don't need top end gaming/video editing performance/colours etc but will play the odd game/watch the odd movie/play on my NES Mini
Ideally I'd like change out of £350
