I need a new battery. From the current (original) one I can tell it's AGM, but I also need to make sure it's the right physical size and suitable for the stop-start of the car.

Anybody kind enough to explain what it all means and suggest a replacement?

AGM70L-DIN is the starting point, the capacity is 70ah (amp hours), 120RC (reserve capacity), 12v (volts), 660cca (cold cranking amps), no idea what 608a(EN) is, probably a standard.

To save you the hassle, buy this:

Depending on the car, it may need coding in. Find out before disconnecting anything.

I presume an AGM battery lasts longer when the car is not being driven too. I’ve got one in my Smart because it has stop start and I take my car for a good 45 minute 23 mile drive once a week.

Never had a problem starting it in the 4.5 years I’ve owned it.
