hi,
this recently started on my 05 st220. I have been over a couple of heavy pot holes :(

At motorway speeds (starts about 70, gets worse towards 90) I get a vibration+rumble through the car - you can feel it in the seats(!) if you go fast enough. There is also more feedback/vibration through the steering as you go faster.

Am I just looking at balancing or could it be something worse?

IIRC, the vibration from unbalanced wheels can tend to fade the faster you go. It could be any number of things like bad alignment, worn bushes, warped disks etc.

Depending on where you live and the competance of your local garage I'd get your wheels checked for balance and if it's still no good get the alignment checked

Could also be a wheel bearing that needs replacing. Does the car pull to one side at all?

car doesnt pull. I just put new pads on the front for my MoT that was in march - I dont think the discs are a problem.

will get a balancing/alignement check over the weekend.

thanks for help :)
