hey.
ive got a 4850 which when i get the PC going works fine,
but the problem is, when i turn the PC on, the light on my monitor instead of going green, to show it's recieving a signal.

it flashes Green, and the screen stays black, and if i pull the connector out of the monitor and put it back in, it acts as though i have 2 screens and shows me the second (if that makes sense)

i generally have to power it off once or twice till i see the post on the screen, then i have no other probems at all.

ive tried reinstalling the drivers etc, and that's not helped.
could it be something to do with catalyst and its "force detect" settings?

anyone have any idea what the problem is?

its odd as if there's no input, the monitor light goes amber.
its 2 Dvi ports.
when i get it working and it shows 2 screens, catalyst is convinced it's detected another monitor
