Hi,

I have just installed Service pack 2 onto my laptop and now there seems to be a black gap about half and inch to the right of my screen. When I move my cursor over to the right the display slides to the left to show the rest of the display. I think it is a multiple display problem and it must think there are 2 monitors connected.

When I click onto display properties it automatically is saying "Display: Multiple monitors on NVIDA etc. ... .." When I change it to default monitor nothing happens. And when I click "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor" the black at the side goes but It doesn't display the whole desktop and I still get the sliding effect.

Can someone help me please!

Have you installed all the latest drivers for your display adapter? Also, try REinstalling the latest drivers if you already have them.

I have downloaded the latest drivers for the Geforce4 420 Go but when I try and install them I get this message:

"The Nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware.

Setup will now exit"

I have formatted C: and installed XP again and it still happens :( :( :(
