Help!!! Documents messed up

Hi all.

Basically. I have a strange problem. A while back I thought it would be super super smart to merge my OneDrive directory and Documents into one. I did this by changing the location of the Documents folder to the directory of the OneDrive folder. I remember getting a box pooping up about confirmation of sorts.

Anyway...I recently was given a massive boost on DropBox storage by a friend, and seen as a lot of the applications I use on my Mac and iDevices use Dropbox for synchronisation in various forms I thought I should disentangle my OneDrove from Documents folder. However. Try are now one and the same completely it seems. Right clicking in the explorer sidebar (where Documents has become OneDrive) and checking the location of the Documents folder reveals that it is in fact in the default Documents directory, but there is no Documents folder hidden or otherwise to be seen in the user folder. What's more is clicking the move to default sections change nothing. I can temporarily resolve the issue by using gsedits.msc and disabling the sync and other settings through there. The problem is that when I reenable it again te explorer sidebar changes back from Documents to OneDrive again :-S.

Another thing. When Microsoft generously hae Office365 customers a terabyte free online storage I promptly uploaded my image to avoid anther disaster. However, even though the pictures folder they lay in is set to Abailable Online only as a means of conserving SSD space, apparently using WinDir Start the OneDrive folder is over 55GB in size even though it should only be around 4?

How do I fix this. Please. I know there's a lot up there but I really would like to fix this. If all else fails I can do a reinstall entirely (if that would fix it) but obviously I would like to avoid the painful process.

Thanks in advance,

Jack

The problem is that in regedit, they are already what they should be. Personal is apparently in %USERPROFILE%\Documents
