A few months ago, I found out that my second great-grandad was a King's Indian Orderly officer in 1922. I'm trying to access the diaries you have linked to as well but they haven't been digitized yet. I've written to the Asian & African Studies Reference Desk and they replied saying that once the digitization services resume (Sept 1st) they should be able to scan and send copies of these.
