So I'm not sure where to post this as I'm not sure what it comes unders as I don't really know the cause!
Basically not that long ago my PC has started to freeze randomly, usually it starts at some point when browsing the internet, being patiant and waiting for it to do something you can finally shut it down. However when you boot it up, it gets to the Win 7 log in screen then just freezes as soon as you try to do something.
The HHD light goes solid red and it just does nothing.
This has happned quite a number of times, the only solution is to reinstall which I have done endless times, but a week or so down the line it happens again.
It is running Asus M3N, AMD Phenonm, 8GB RAM, SATA HDDs.
I've tried just about everything, reseating memory, CPU, cards, trying different sata slots, even replaced HDDs - nothing!
Is it goosed?
Edit: At a guess I'm going with a power or mobo issue as I don't believe it to be drivers as on a fresh install it can sometimes do it - before and after any updates or driver installs.
