HELP! DS3P constantly beeping????

says in the book its a power issue? what could this be?

everything (from what i can see) is plugged in where and how it should be...

any ideas?

also where the 4 pin connector goes near the back i have a 8 pin connector on my power supply (should i use this?) wanted to check before just plugging it in!

its a fast series of beeps the cpu fan spins slightly but thats it......

i have a 4 pin and a 8 pin, with either plugged in all i get are the constant beeps....

its doing my head in!

Using a Antec TruePower 550w, and have tried another PSU....
 
its a 8800gts 320mb

I have ITS poswer connected, and i have the power going to the pci-extress power connector on the motherboard (tried it without the power plugged into the pci-express power connector on motherboard).

Also tried it wit a crappy pci-e video card and just get ecactly the same beeps.

hang on pci-express connector? i dont have anything plugged into the realy small black connector on the motherboard? should i?

i have the Evga 320mb 8800gts that OcUK had on special a couple of months ago...

i do have my gfx card plugged into my psu.

but even with the dung video card it still beeps,

if i remove the memory the beeps change to a constant.

so i am sure i am just missing something.
